Associate Physicians in Utah

What is an Associate Physician?

Associate Physicians (AP's) are medical school graduates, so they are doctors (MD's and DO's). They have 3 to 6 times more training than a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. AP's have a restricted license and work under a physician like a PA or NP.
